Stainless steel enclosure for large digit indicators
BEKA have introduced a 316 Stainless Steel enclosure option for their popular 'G' range field mounting 4/20mA loop powered indicators. Designed for applications in marine and harsh environments, the new enclosure provides IP66 protection after a 7J impact to the enclosure, or a 4J impact to the toughened glass window. The GRP enclosure option which has the same impact and IP66 ingress protection remains available.
This new stainless steel enclosure is available for the general purpose and intrinsically safe models which have ATEX, IECEx, ETL and cETL certification permitting installation in gas and dust hazardous areas worldwide.
Many thousands of these 'G' field mounting indicators have been installed since their introduction in 2013. They are available with four 34mm high digits, or five 29mm high digits plus a 31 segment bargraph. All have an operating temperature of -40ºC to +70ºC and include a square root extractor, sixteen segment lineariser, internal calibrator together with a tare function. As with all BEKA instruments, for no additional charge these indicators can be supplied calibrated to user requirements with units of measurement and tag information printed on the slide-in scale card.
A green display backlight that may be loop or separately powered and dual alarms with isolated solid state outputs are available as options.
Accessories include pipe mounting kits and stainless steel tag plates, which can be supplied engraved with customer specified tag and application information.
