Highly Commended Award for Pageant Intrinsically Safe Operator Panel
The technical innovation employed in BEKA associates new Pageant combined intrinsically safe Operator Panel and Programmable Logic Controller was recognised at the recent Hazardex conference and exhibition by the award of a Highly Commended certificate.
Pageant's state of the art, low power technology simplifies system design and reduces the cost of providing a combined operator display and PLC with plug-in input and output modules in almost any gas or dust hazardous area. An optional RS 485-IS port enables networking with other equipment in the safe or hazardous area and operation as a Modbus RTU master or slave.
Featuring a 7 inch backlit trans-reflective display which can be read in all lighting conditions, the panel and all of the plug-in modules have IECEx, ATEX and UKEX certification permitting any combination of plug-in modules to be fitted without the need for additional certification.
The PLC employs industry standard CODESYS® runtime software which complies with IEC 61131 and is already used in over 1500 different products worldwide.
