This HART® enabled loop powered indicating temperature transmitter is Ex n & tD certified which permits installation in Zones 2 and 22 gas and dust hazardous areas. The BA474ND has a certified galvanically isolated, intrinsically safe input allowing direct connection to a resistance thermometer, thermocouple, resistance or voltage source located in any gas or dust hazardous area without the need for Zener barriers or galvanic isolators, thus greatly reducing the loop cost.

The BA474ND may be configured using the internal push buttons or via HART® digital communication.

The instrument can be supplied calibrated to customers′ requirements free of charge and can be labelled to show units of measurement, tag number and application.
