This second generation, HART® enabled loop powered indicating temperature transmitter, provides a large, easy to read digital temperature display plus accurate 4/20mA analogue and HART® digital outputs. Optional alarm outputs enable under and over temperature warnings to be generated and an optional display backlight enhances display visibility in poor lighting conditions. The transmitter has a galvanically isolated input allowing connection to any earthed or floating resistance thermometer, thermocouple, resistance or voltage source. High common mode voltages will not degrade the performance of this transmitter.

The BA678C tranmitter may be configured using the front panel push buttons or via HART® digital communication.

The instrument can be supplied calibrated to customers′ requirements free of charge and can be labelled to show units of measurement, tag number and application.
